We’re delighted to announce the full release of our new client software! We named this release “Bastet” after the Ancient Egyptian goddess associated with protection from disease.

This release has an improved user interface and the option to control all the machines you have running Folding@home from a single webpage.
Under the hood, the code is dramatically streamlined, which will make it much easier for us to make updates and maintain compatibility with new versions of operating systems.
More importantly, we have made important security updates that allow us to make the code open source! We invite you to check out the code on our GitHub page and to help us make improvements.
