We’ve recently written a new FAQ to talk about FAH and open source (see https://foldingathome.org/English/FAQ-OpenSource ). The basic jist of the FAQ is that if someone would like to understand better how FAH works, the tools are available as open source and one can download them and try them out. We’ve given links and even some tips for how to compile, run, etc. We are also working to give back our mods, especially as a part of the OpenMM project.
