Here you can optionally specify a FAH username, the team number you would like to be contribute to, and a passkey. Usernames are used to identify your contributions, and teams combine the points of all of their members. Affiliation with a team does not affect contributions; all results are collected together regardless. However, joining a team often brings a sense of camaraderie, and some teams have their own community-driven sources of help. You can start a new team, or see a list of existing teams on the Stats page.
Passkeys are used as a unique identifier that ties your contributions directly to you (not just those with your username). Passkeys are required for the Quick Return Bonus, which rewards you extra points for rapidly and reliably completing Work Units. The use of a passkey also prevents others from cheating using your username. For these reasons, we recommend that you get one although it’s not required.
